School?! | Tips On How to Take Care of your Face: High School Student Edition

Eek... School is coming around the corner and I'm so not prepared! School stresses me out = pimples.

I got this idea from to talk about how to take care of you face during school time when most people are under the most stress.

1. Keep up with your skin care routine! 
  • Never skip a day without doing your everyday usual routine because you are tired or stressed out because of school work. Always leave some time for yourself.
2. Meditate!
  • Meditating is great for you and your skin! So take a couple minutes and just sit and clear your mind.
3. Drink lots of water!
  • You should drink up to 8 glasses of water. First step to good skin is a well hydrated skin. (you really will see a difference)
4. Sun protection!
  • Always put sunscreen not just on your face but your whole body. Try to at least have SPF 30. Walking to and from classes all day, you are exposed to sun. Your skin needs protection!
5. Eat healthy!
  • Food at school aren't the healthiest out there! Food is a big factor in breaking out. Eating junky, greasy food is an instant trigger to pimples. So why not pack a home made healthy lunch?
6. Make up cleanliness!
  • I always see my fellow classmates sharing make up and that can share bacteria, especially eye make up! Clean your make up brushes ect. NEVER sleep with make up on wash it off before a good night sleep.
7. Get sleep!
  • I know you can have so much HW due the next day so start right when you get home so you can sleep early and get at least 8 hours of sleep!
I hope these tips help you and your skin but always remember to keep those grades up! Even out your lifestyle and it will get easier!
